These courses are written by Brenda Taylor, Mpsych, a clinical psychologist with decades of experience in therapy and assessment. I have worked with people with ADHD from children to adults.

This course is designed to help you understand some of the basics about Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). It is intended for people who are thinking about being diagnosed or who have recently been diagnosed. It is for educational purposes and provide information. It can be a confusing process and I wanted to help clarify some aspect of diagnosis, what you might feel, what happens day to day and then some things to think about to maintain your wellbeing.
What is the format?
The modules are:
ADHD as an adult and has 6 lectures. The topics covered are: Introduction, what are the good things?, other conditions related to ADHD, getting a diagnosis, impact on relationships and telling family and friends.
Managing day to day and has 4 lectures. The topics covered are: Why does my energy fluctuate?, how to manage, what you need to do to take care of your body and dealing with fluctuating energy.
Does it replace therapy?
No these courses are designed for educational purposes for a general audience and does not replace individual therapy, as you your circumstances are not assessed.
